THE ROUTE

Ride With Andy takes cyclists on a 54-mile journey from Clapham Common in London to Brighton’s iconic seafront.

Along the way, riders travel through the countryside, tackle the famous Ditchling Beacon climb and make their way to the finish line, where friends, family and fellow riders come together to celebrate.

It’s a challenging but rewarding day, made even better by the people you share it with.

2027 route and timings will be confirmed when registration opens.

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

You don’t need to be a pro to Ride With Andy.

Whether you’re a regular cyclist or looking for a new challenge, Ride With Andy welcomes riders of varied abilities.

Our previous rides have brought together experienced cyclists, first-timers and people getting back on their bikes, all taking on the challenge for the same cause.

We provide pre-ride guidance and training support to help you prepare, so you can arrive at the start line feeling ready for the miles ahead.

2027 entry requirements and registration details coming soon.

WHAT SUPPORT WILL I GET?

We’ve got your back, from London to Brighton.

You might be doing the pedalling, but you won’t be doing it alone.

Our rides are supported by a fantastic team of ride captains and volunteers who help keep everyone moving, motivated and fuelled throughout the day.

Previous Ride With Andy events have included:

  • Pre-ride training and fundraising guidance
  • Ride captains, first aid and mechanical support
  • Pit stops with water and snacks
  • Small-bag transfer to the finish
  • A well-earned celebration in Brighton

Full details of what’s included in your 2027 entry will be shared when registration opens.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Every mile helps open doors.

By taking part in Ride With Andy, you’ll be raising money to help young people overcome barriers to careers in media and the creative industries.

Your fundraising supports the Andy Taylor Foundation’s work providing bursaries, mentoring, training, paid work experience and valuable industry connections to young people who might otherwise struggle to access these opportunities.

You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser, either. We’ll help you get started and share ideas to help you reach your target.

The 2027 fundraising commitment will be announced alongside registration.

GETTING READY FOR THE RIDE

A little preparation goes a long way.

54 miles is a brilliant challenge, and giving yourself time to prepare will help you enjoy the day.

Whether that means building up your distance, getting more comfortable riding in a group or practising a few hills before Ditchling Beacon, we’ll share guidance to help you get ready.

The aim isn’t to be the fastest rider. It’s to take on the challenge, support each other and make it to Brighton together.
